Getting Started

Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, anyone who comes to CrossFit Mt. Hood is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in regular classes. These include a total of four one-on-one sessions with one of our coaches.

How to Get Started:

Attend a Free class!

A free session is designed to help you understand what we do, and why we do it, answer any questions that you may have, and provide your first exposure to a CrossFit workout. You will gain instruction in some of the basic movements, and experience examples of how we scale workouts for each individual. Our Free class is offered every Saturday at 10 am and we require a call or email to schedule.

Complete our On Ramp Course

Following the FREE session, each person is required to complete our On Ramp Course. These are for all people new to CrossFit, regardless of one’s previous athletic background. These fundamental sessions will provide you with the techniques and skills necessary for maintaining safety and maximizing your results when you enter the group classes. The course is a total of 12 sessions (3x per week for 4 weeks). The cost of this course is $150 for individuals and $250 for couples. After completion of this course you will be on our regular unlimited monthly rate. All of our On Ramp classes must be completed before entering regular classes. These sessions must be scheduled ahead of time. We ask for 24 hours notice if you can not make a scheduled class. Please call or come in to schedule your sessions.
